Due to the rise in poverty in Pakistan, poor parents cannot afford to get their daughters married with dignity and pride and thus, allow their daughters to fulfil this crucial rite.
Marriage is a moral safeguard as well as a social building block. Through marriage, families are established and the family is considered to be the fundamental unit of society in Pakistan. Gulzar e Madinah Welfare Trust has successfully arranged marriages in different congregational marriage ceremonies during the course of few years.
The Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم said that: Marriage is my tradition whosoever keeps away from it is not from amongst us.
Marriage Support Program
Gulzar e Madinah Welfare Trust regularly organizes congregational marriage programs all over Pakistan in which multiple marriages are arranged in one program. We also support individual marriages in availability of our Marriage Support Fund. In congregational/individual marriages, we provide the following items to each couple in order to support them for the new beginnings.
Fund And Wedding Gifts
It is not hard to find instances in Pakistan where a poor family saves money for years to marry off a daughter when only a portion of this money would have been sufficient to send the kids to school, buy them books and invest in their future. Gulzar e Madinah Welfare Trust assists qualifying beneficiaries of Community in enabling their daughters to get married without the family experiencing financial hardship. The scheme is conditional upon availability of funds. Gulzar e Madinah Welfare Trust realizes the difficulty many poor families are in and, with your support, provides marriage support funds and wedding gifts.
